Bosak Motor Sales History
1926-1936
Since 1926, when John Bosak began selling and
servicing automobiles, the Bosak family have dedicated their lives to
the automobile business.
Bosak Motor Sales was
incorporated in 1928 selling a wide array of quality automobiles but it
wasn't until 1936 that John Bosak became a franchised Chrysler
Dealership. The Bosak's have over 70 years of dedication to
Chrysler
products.
1936-1973
John Bosak retired from the
dealership business in 1948 and his sons Michael R.
"Bud" Bosak (President) and John "Jack" Bosak II (Vice President)
carried on the legacy. John's thrid son, Emmet joined his
brothers in the business in 1961.
The
Bosak brothers continued their dedication to providing quality Chrysler
products and dependable service to their to their loyal customers for
more than 20 years until Bud Bosak's untimely
death.
Consequently, Jack was appointed President of
Bosak Motor Sales, a position he held for more than 30
years.
1973-1980
Realizing the opportunites that existed with an
expanding US 30 corridor and ever growing consumer market, Jack Bosak
took a chance and built a flagship Chrysler facility in Merrillville,
Indiana.

Offering customers expanded
inventory and services, the new Bosak Chrylser in Merrillville
provided quality new car sales and used car sales and service
experience he area had never seen before. Ensuing the Bosak
family values of customer satisfaction would live on for decades to
come.
1980-1991
Skip, Cary and Greg Bosak - the third generation of Bosak children -
were officially introduced to the car business in the early 1980's,
cultivating a loyal customer base that has flourished to this
date.
Seizing another opportunity to expand their
horizons and enter an ever-changing import market, the Bosak family
purchased a faltering Honda Dealership in Highland, Indiana in
1991.
With the Bosak family's commitment to treating
the customer right before, during and after the sale, the Bosak Honda
has grown into one of the most successful Honda franchises in
Northwest Indiana and an industry leader throughout the
Chicagoland area.
In 1994, the
sudden death of Jack Bosak forced an end of an era and
launched a new executive structure into place at Bosak motor
Sales.
Jack's brother Emmet Bosak subsequently took
over as President, leaving Jack's three sons in enhanced roles; Skip
became Vice President, Cary served a dual role of Secretary/Treasurer
and Greg Bosak was appointed President of Bosak
Honda.
It was also the introduction of Jack's
daughter, Theresa, into the business where she proudly served as Vice
President.

1995-Current
With the expansion as the forefront of their business
development strategy, the Bosak family purchased a revitalized Jeep
franchise in 1995. Within three years of initial ownership,
the Bosak's acheived a 400% sales increase, thereby proving their
continued focus on customer relationships was the foundation
for growth and success.
Emmet passed away in 2001
officially assigning the title of President of Bosak Motor Sales to
Cary Bosak, while Skip, Greg and Theresa maintained their executive
roles. Cary, Skip, Greg and Theresa
executed a buyout of the Chrysler and Jeep franchises from the Emmet
Bosak
family.

The
restructuring propelled the Bosak franchises toward
a new and stronger future and further aligned the
Bosak name with excellence in the automobile
business. Today, staffed with the best managerial team in
their corporate History The Bosak Auto Group continues to
flourish. The Bosaks have appointed a full time Corporate
Trainer, dedicated to keeping the entire Corporation trained
on the most progressive sales, service and customer satisfaction
programs in the industry.
The Bosaks'
